The RL is Acura's flagship vehicle. As such, it comes loaded with every possible feature in the company's technological and engineering arsenal. The RL's racy styling, luxurious interior and road-hugging Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system (SH-AWD) should have the competition sweating bullets. Unfortunately, its V6 engine fails to provide the "push-back-in-your-seat" acceleration delivered by the V8s found in the Infiniti M45, Audi A6 4.2 and Lexus GS 430. Still, the 290-horsepower RL is no slouch, and with gasoline prices on the rise, consumer preference for power may take a back seat to the RL's more attractive fuel economy.
